PHP Vehicle Auctions & Classifieds Search Engine Script Powered by eBay API

Installation Instructions:

Here are some quick installation notes, if you are not familiar with FTP or PHP contact me to get more help. I offer installation service for a small fee.

Step 1:

First you should download and extract zip file to a local folder on your computer or in your web server.

Step 2:

Download license.php from the download page provided with the email. Place it in /UPLOAD folder.

Step 3:

Open /UPLOAD folder and edit config.php file for your website. Please refer to explanations above the configuration.

Step 4:

Upload all the files in /UPLOAD folder to your web server. Do *not* upload /UPLOAD folder itself. Use your favorite FTP software to do it.

Step 5:

Give write permissions to the /core and /cache folder. (CHMOD 0755 or 0777)

Step 6:

Facebook Comments can work without creating a Facebook application (it is free) but by providing an APP ID you can have the control over the comment box. To create an app go to Facebook Developers and follow the instructions below. After you get the App ID, you need to edit config.php file and put your App ID in.

Step 7:

To use this script you need an eBay Developer Account and production App ID. If you don't have any eBay Developer account, you can create one for free and it takes just minutes. Follow the instructions below to create an App to set production keys:

a - Click here and fill the registration form
b - After activating your account, click "Generate Production Keys"
c - You will be given production keys. You will only need App ID
d - Enter your App ID in config.php file
